Hello,
I use 17.04.1 with KDE 5.18.0 on Ubuntu 14.04. Almost every movie rendered has at least one freeze after cut (with the transition effect or without it). At the end of every cut there are a few identical frames that look like a freeze. I have seen the same bug in many old versions starting from 0.97 (including packaged nightly builds with start-kdenlive script) but now it's going worse. The project is set to 720p 25fps, movies are imported from a JVC Everio HD camera with 1920x1080/25fps -H264/AVC + ATSC A/52A 48000 format, cut on the timeline and rendered to h264. I've seen similar bug reports in many locations: viewtopic.php?f=265&t=114314, https://old.kdenlive.org/forum/short-pauses-after-cuts, https://old.kdenlive.org/forum/rendered ... ransitions The only workaround for me is to change clip position with trial-and-error approach, render part-by-part and then collect everything in different software. Is there any way to make kdenlive render the imported movies properly? The clips cut in Sony Vegas or FCP are OK. Marcin |
