I just installed KDenLive (OS is Linux Elementary Loki) and I would like to increase the size of my window because right now, it's very small and tucked away in the top right corner.
Here is the picture of my preview: http://i.imgur.com/9VoWh5x.png I also noticed that I'm currently rendering at 29.97FPS and I was wondering if there was any way I could change that to 60FPS. I couldn't find any options in the render section. Thanks |

Changing size of preview is quite easy: https://comfy.moe/mytqyq.webm
And fps can be changed under project settings (I use polish version, so I don't know exact name). |

Find also the kdenlive documentation here: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual

I just added this to the manual https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... e_Monitors
I found it tricky to actually find the resizing widget for making the monitor higher. |

Hello!
I did find the resizing controls, but it doesn't help After enlarging my preview, when I press `play`, the preview snaps back to it's original small size. Can I keep it on the size I selected for a longer time? (I tried saving the layout, but that doesn't change anything, either.) [It's kdenlive 18.12.3 (latest repository version) on Linux Mint Debbie (based on Debian buster)] |

Under that movie one one of the lines you can simply "drag" the images to bigger or smaller.
This line in the image. When your on it you'll get a double arrow pointing up and down. |

Yes, right. I found and used that (as I wrote).
But when pressing Play (or Pause), the preview snaps back to small by itself. Can I do anything so that it stays larger? |

Have you tried the appimage of the latest version 20.08.2? I couldn't replicate the behavior on my Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu Studio installs. Is it perhaps a very small video and you have "Force Monitor Size > 100%" selected?
This forum will soon be archived and you won't be able to interact with it anymore. Please use KDE Discuss instead.

Thanks for your thoughts & sorry for the delay - took a few days to find the time.
The source video is larger than the preview window and the latter is configured to "Free Resize". Tried the current appimage just now. Apart from the fact, that the gui looks a bit different, I can say, the problem is gone in this version. The preview window keeps the size to which I set it. Thanks for this hint. |
