I am curious, if there are any plans in supporting Jack-Audio Transport? I think this would be a really important improvement for working with audio-material in combination with video. Especially for music/film-music producers this would be a great chance to use kdenlive more exlusively...

I really want to push for this too. It's invaluable for syncing up multiple pieces of footage with ardour tracks... The latest version of shotcut has it, so getting closer, if only I could import shotcut's mlt into kdenlive! I might dig around and start a new post... There's a jack branch on github from 2012 so there's been an attempt at some point in history. Did you find anything further?
