First time here.
Question: I have a dash camera (Mobius) that outputs a MOV file, I would like to know if kdenlive can be used to edit this MOV file? For things like splicing together the 3 minute clips, etc? I am new to video editors and using them. so would like to know if the editor is intuitive enough that it won't be a great learning process, is it easy! Kind of difficult knowing what to say. I want to edit the software (MOV file) and load it to a Tablet for viewing, where should I start? |

Yes, Kdenlive will work directly with MOV files. As far as difficulty, kdenlive is fairly intuitive - especially if you have used other video editors.
To get started, you can click on 'Project', then 'Add clip' which will allow you to import your video. Once you see your video in the 'Project Bin' to the left, you can then drag it down to the Timeline. For more information: https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual |
