Hello,
In Settings / Configure Kdenlive / Environment / MLT environment you can specify Melt path. melt.exe should be next to kdenlive.exe in the directory where you extracted the archive... unless it has been wrongly quarantined/suppressed by an antivirus? Good luck! |

Thanks so much for this. As newbie I have to learn a lot. The fields in this settings (environment) seemed emty. But the background color is the same as foreground color. Then indeed the path was not correct. |

There is no melt.exe in Kdenlive 17.08.1, but you can set the path to kdenlive_render.exe (it should be next to kdenlive.exe in the same directory).
It fixes problem with melt.exe path. However, for me render still fails (it instantly ends with rendering time 0s), but maybe setting this path can help you. update: my falt. seems like antivirus delete melt.exe. |
