Crop Effect Turns Monitor Black

Sat Oct 07, 2017 2:32 am
I am trying to crop a video that was a screen capture, recorded at 3286x1080, but when I apply the crop, the project monitor turns black. Anyone have any idea why?

Using:
MLT version 6.5.0
FFmpeg libraries

Version 17.04.3
Using:
KDE Frameworks 5.18.0
Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1)
The xcb windowing system

Ubuntu 16.04

Can you post the project and crop effect settings to get some more information?

Here too, I think is a bug... However you can use "Edge Crop" it works well.

i'm also using for example "composite" and NOT "composite and transform" ... seems that some effects are very buggy.
