I have this problem where when I position & zoom a 720x576 video in a 1080p project, the video gets cut off.

No matter I do the video gets cut off after the letter "i" in PlayStation, I can move a png overlay without problems past the "i", just not the video.

Running KDEnLive 17.08.1 on Windows 10 Pro x64.

I can't see the settings for the zoom so this is a guess only:

By default Kdenlive tries to keep the aspect ratio. There is a check box right below the size named "Distort" (or similar). Maybe this gives you the result you are looking for.
