Kdenlive crashes during rendering

Thu Nov 16, 2017 1:06 pm
Hello.

Kdenlive 6.4.1 on Ubuntu Studo 17.10
Lenovo Thinkpad t1410

When attempting to render my project, it always fails with this error

https://pastebin.com/a3VTiPWH

i've tried a variety of different projects.

I've tried switching the number of MLT threads to 1 as suggested in another thread. I haven't tried switching off GPU rendering, as also suggested in that thread, as it was already off.

I've tried switching to the pty nvidia drivers, on the theory that it might be some hardware/driver bork.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

can you re-try with latest Appimage build? ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 4.AppImage )

Do you mean is GPU Rendering enabled in Settings>Configure>Playback?

If so, no it isn't.

Can't you render any simple project, or only a particular one?
Do you use a custom rendering profile?

I had this same problem and fixed it by disabling the GPU rendering. Shame we can't have nice things. Hopefully a fix soon!
Thx
