Can only import clips from c:\users

Wed May 09, 2018 11:57 am
I'm using Windows 10

When I want to import a clip, the only folder on my PC that is accessible is c:\users. I cannot access any other folder on c:\. How can I change this?

Your Windows User, certainly is not an Administrator user, just a simple user, so all directories are not reachable.
Verify your account user.

the ROOT of system unit (c:) is forbidden to all not Microsoft Signed (manifest file) applications. .. this is from Windows Vista...
you can use a ROOT of a secondary device (like D:) if you want to place sources without a PATH... (you can partition your disk for this purpose)

BTW.. make sure to launch Kdenlive.exe with administrative privileges (using right mouse button and select this option) to have maximum access to files.
