Hello!
I use Kdenlive 18.04 on my Manjaro KDE. When I select High Quality in Track composition and put in timeline *.png file with transparent background, the backgrond in clip is white. When I change to Preview mode everything is OK. In my Kubuntu with Kdenlive 17 I haven't this problem. How to make this timeline background from white to black? http://picbg.net/u/66803/59400/874910.jpeg http://picbg.net/u/66803/59400/874911.jpeg |

Thanks for the help, but I use excatly same version. I fixed my problem. The problem was in MLT. I installed MLT from AUR and everything is OK now.

@ivailogeorgiev exactly what version of mlt do you have installed?
I also use manjaro and I now have Kdenlive 18.04.2 and mlt 6.8.0 (from official repos, not git version). I have the exact same issue you described. |

Yep. I have mlt 6.8.0.2-1 and kdenlive 18.04.2-1 on Manjaro KDE and I have this error.
Also - I can't uninstall MLT from octopi -
EDIT: 6.8.0 is the latest version: https://www.mltframework.org/blog/ I have also got a KDE bugtracker issue for this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395865 |

Yes, somehow installing from AUR does solve the issue, but this shouldn't be the case. It should work from the Up to date official repo MLT

Thanks for the info. Today I've reinstalled mlt:
And now I have properly working color clips and I don't have white background on smaller images. However I see "INVALID" on clips that are PNG images... I have mlt-git, but kdenlive is installed from official repos, it's not from git. |

The problem is in MLT 6.8.0.
Solved in debian by switching to a later git snapshot. Hopefully MLT will release a bugfix, until then the distro packagers should pick the patch... |
