When I activate GPU processing and I click only a few times in the project it crashes. If I turn it off I have the weird problem that a color clip will not show in the time line (only a white layer) and I cannot edit it in the project bin either.
I tried to find an error log but could not.
I know these is not much info. Here is part of my system setup:

MLT version 6.8.0
Antergos Gnome Version 3.28.2

Intel® Core™ i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz × 8
GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2
