Is there any way to make a clip to repeat "n times"? For example, in audacity, there is an option to select a track and make to repeat it "n times", and Audacity even show how much will be the final duration after repeating the track.
Nowadays, I can't do it in Kdenlive without copying and pasting several times, and it's a waste of time. For me is easier to use Avidemux to do this, cause, I can drag a drop the clip in Avidemux, export the new clip and then include it in my Kdenlive project. So, please , could you implement a way to repeat clips in track? Thank you |

I would personally love a way to have clips loop their content while still being a single clip.
Here's my mockup of how this could work: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Jk_Ii ... CP4W2NZsYu https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... ge=1&ifg=1 |

That's a good idea too, more flexible that the one I proposed.

a lot of times the clip need some cuts at the "start" and at "end" before someone can use it as a "repetitive" clip .. (alwais... i think) this need some sort of "pre-processing" of clips. (that can reduce quality of video due video compression.) not sure that is necessary to add more new features in a bug-fixing period. |

I not agree. I usually have ready to insert background video loops, but in Kdenlive, I need to create outside the application a larger video based on the small loop, save it and then insert it in Kdenlive. So the procedure is more usual that you think, IMHO.

Hi "rafaellinuxuser", "unfa", etc...
Did you ever find a Kdenlive option for looping or repeating or extending or stretching a video? I was trying to find an option to loop or repeat or extend or stretch a smaller video to match the length of 3 songs in an audio timeline. What I ended up doing was right-clicking the video clip in the project manager selecting clip properties and changing its duration to match the duration of the 3 songs in the audio track, and that worked except it only shows the last frame of the video after playing its regular length. I sure would love to have an option for looping a video continuously or for repeating the video "n" number of times, or loop to match the highlighted audio timeline or another video timeline. Regards, Phil |

Sorry to answer so late ... I didn't receive any notification
No, I don't know any other solution to make a video longer apart the way you did it, changing the clip speed. |
