I was putting together some game clips and I tried to render it as an MP4 but the option wasn't available, so I tried rendering it as a .wmv and as an MPEG2. The .wmv worked but it was very poor quality. MPEG2 was even worse. The video played back at like 2 fps and the audio randomly cut out after like 7 seconds and never came back. Is there some way I can get kdenlive to let me render in MP4 or is there another high quality option that I'm missing?

Any help is appreciated!

What version of Kdenlive are you using? ( win? Linux? latest stable, latest beta?)

BTW.. better to render to the "dominating format" and adjust sliders to reach a nice quality.
