Are there plans for a keyframeable quick/slow motion effect?

Today there is very popular to do quick to slow motion and the other way around.

I’m not sure if with the upcoming refactoring release this would be possible.

At the moment it’s not possible by key frame. What you can do is:
- Cut the clip with the razor (X) on the places were the tempo should be changed.
- The clip is now cut into pieces.
- Change the speed on the clip piece as you like

What’s not possible is a smooth transition between to tempos. As a work around you can cut further slices were you can change the speed so you have in steps a slow down or a speed up.
