Hello,

Windows 10
Kdenlive-18.04.1

I'm wondering where and how the kdenlive keyboard shortcuts are saved.

Somehow I cannot get back to the defaults.

I see a file here that seemed to get created, which seems to contain many (but not all?) of the shortcuts:
"AppData\Local\kdenlive\shortcuts\Default"

This file also seems to get some keyboard shortcuts added to it near the bottom of this file
\AppData\Local\kxmlgui5\kdenlive\kdenliveui.rc

And I did try to change some shortcuts at Settings> Configure Shortcuts> Manage Schemes> More actions> Export Schemes

So I'm wondering how to get back to the default keyboard shortcuts, when I think I somehow overwrote the default keyboard shortcuts.

I'm also wondering, in order to create a new scheme, do I create a new scheme, then start modifying it?
Or do I modify the default scheme and save it as a new scheme? (Or export it?)

Thanks for any ideas.

Have you tried Settings>Configure Shortcuts>Defaults ?

I'm pretty sure I had somehow overwrote the default settings.

When I click on default, my modified keyboard shortcuts are in effect.

So how to get back to default keyboard shortcuts I wonder?

Seems a little complicated to just make a variation, save as new scheme, and get back to defaults.

Not sure whether to export my variations or save as new scheme.

Trying various methods. Just wondering if there's a preferred way.

Trying the various options did create a situation where click on default showed up with absolutely no shortcuts at all.

How to get back to defaults though i wonder?

Anybody else ever have issues with this?

Thanks for any ideas.
