Something very simple that I haven't been able to do is creating copies of your clips on the timeline. Is this even possible on kdenlive? I can't find it. The only thing I can do is duplicate a clip in the Project Bin but it duplicates the WHOLE clip. On the timeline, I would've already made adjustments to the original clip by cutting out the beginning and/or end so if I wanted a duplicate copy, I would need to drag in the original clip and cut out exactly the same parts which is really time consuming.

Hope there is a quick way to duplicate a clip on the timeline. Any help would be appreciated.

Select/click the clip on the timeline and:
- Right click and select “copy” / or hit CTRL + C
- Go with the mouse to the position you want to past: Right click and select “paste” / or hit CTRL + V
