Took a few tries, but eventually got it working after removing the Wave effect from a jpg I imported. I think it is conflicting with one of the other effects (Sepia, Vignette Effect, Scratchlines, Oldfilm, Grain, and nosync0r). Luckily it was that and not something that majorly impacted the quality of the final render. I wish I could give more details, but all I can find is in the render window.
I can't seem to locate the logs in %AppData%/Local/Kdenlive, %AppData%/Roaming/Kdenlive or in the installation directories, so I'm at a loss of where to find them, if they even exist.

You find the error message in the event viewer: windows+r -> eventvwr -> check the error messages with Kdenlive.

Try with the version 18.08.0: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 8.0-w64.7z (still the old code, not the refactoring brach)
18.08.0 has MLT 6.10.0. Try again. BTW: I found some MLT dll problems/miss-match yesterday as I looking to find out more about the Play/Pause problem in Windows. |

I don't know why I put 18.04. I was using 18.08.

Just saw the path: D:\Program Files\Kdenlive-18.04.1
So, the filter “oldfilm» cause the crash. If you remove the filter, does Kdenlive render without crash? |

It no longer crashed after I disabled the "Wave" plugin. So I think they clashed.
