trim videos by audio

Fri Aug 24, 2018 4:49 am
Is there a way to pass through a folder of .mp4 files and trim them by audio track? Say the first 20 seconds has no audio and the last 20 seconds has no audio, is there a way to remove the first and last 20 seconds of the video file, trimming it somehow? Using Kdenlive or another program? Could it be tuned by decibel level? I want to trim the beginning and end where I am not talking.

Hello,
Kdenlive is not a batch automation software. You should use CLI/scripting programs for such purpose.
MLT has python bindings, maybe using this combination you could reach your goal quite efficiently, but you need some developer skills...
