Hello,
I'm using kdenlive 17.04.3 Ubuntu Studio 16.04.5 LTS and a self-compiled realtime kernel (4.16.18-rt12). Also I have two older kernel verions installed: 4.14.59-rt37 and 4.4.0-134-lowlatency. Now, kdenlive starts up normally when I've booted my machine into one of these older kernels but fails when I've booted into the 4.16 kernel. Anyone here having made the same experience? Details about my machine: MacBookPro7,1 Core(TM)2 Duo CPU Qt 5.51 This is what I get when trying to start kdenlive from the terminal:
Any clues? Thanks, Stefan |

Try with the actual 18.08 AppImage and run it via terminal. It looks like that the LADSPA plugin will not load or is not compatible any more.

I've downloaded kdenlive-18.04.1-x86_64.AppImage and tried to run that from terminal - crashes as well. At least I still have a 4.14 kernel installed. Kdenlive works when booting into that kernel.
