when I try to download something with the "Kdenlive Add-On Installer" I get the message

loading of providers from file http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml failed

I'm using Kdenlive 18.02.2 from AppImage in Kubuntu 18.04

Any ideas?

I'm using Kdenlive on Windows, but I hope this helps.

I'm not sure how to proceed with the wipes and render profiles, but for the user-submitted title templates, I've also noticed that in the past few releases, the download function inside the program doesn't seem to work. When I click on the download button, it seems to work, but it won't be saved where Kdenlive's bult-in titles are saved.

Here's my work around:

1. Go to https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/335/. The user-submitted wipes, keyboard schemes, etc. are also hosted on this website, it seems.

2. Download the desired title template.

3. Extract the contents of the folder and copy the .kdenlivetitle files to your "Kdenlive-18.08.2\data\titles" file path.

4. Open the Kdenlive program. Go to Project > Add title clip. Click on the folder icon on the top left, and go to the same file path where you saved the downloaded titles.


I believe the same would go for the other things. I know that the wipes are saved under "Kdenlive-18.08.2\data\lumas", and I think the render profiles are either at "Kdenlive-18.08.2\data\export" or at "Kdenlive-18.08.2\data\profiles".

Downloading new wipes just worked for me - ver 17.12.3 of Kdenlive on Kubuntu.
