I'm seeing an issue in Kdenlive 18.08.3, AppImage version. OS is Ubuntu MATE 18.10.

Edit: Also seeing the same issue on Kdenlive 18.08.2 on Windows 10.

Whenever I try to resize the proportions of the bottom vs. top halves of the window, it snaps back. I don't recall seeing this behavior in other versions; is anyone else experiencing this?

It seems you have some “left over" from a previous Kdenlive. Rename/delete kdenliverc see here: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration.

On Windows: press Win + R (Windows key and R key simaltenously) and type APPDATA (all caps). go to loacal -> within it rename kdenliverc to kdenliverc.old. https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... ring_crash
