Can't Group Clips

Thu Jan 24, 2019 11:21 pm
I am trying to group an audio and video clip so I can try to apply a fade to both at the same time. I thought I was able to do this before but now I can't get it to select both clips. I have tried to shift click, ctrl click but neither work. If I try to click and drag to select it just moves the progress line around on my timeline. Am I doing something wrong or have I changed a setting?

Apply a fade to both (video & audio) at the same time is not possible. Go with the mouse to the top corner of each clip and the mouse change to a finger. Click and drag it inwards will make a fade. You have to do it for video & audio.

Select clips: on an empty timeline place -> hold down shift + click and you can draw up a window. What you cover with that window gets selected.

Thanks. I figured out the fade thing. I will try the other tip next video.
