I'm not sure if there's a way to do this already or if I can make a feature suggestion but I think it would be nice to add a track monitor to the existing clip/project monitors. This would be similar in purpose to the multi track view but more customizable because a user can pick and choose what tracks they want to see in addition to the project view. The track monitor would show the current frame like the project monitor, allowing a user to identify cut locations without needing to switch tracks on and off.

A work around is the multi-track view. Right click into the project monitor and tick “Multitrack view”.
I can put it into the Bugtracker as a wish if you like.

Yes please. That workaround is alright but it doesn't take advantage of multi-monitor setups and is limiting when you only want to look at 1 or 2 tracks plus the project monitor.
