I've been using Kdenlive on the KDE Linux desktop for several years now. I'm currently using the Neon KDE desktop.
So, I just had my Kdenlive updated to 19.04.0. It's REALLY different. So much that I've grown familiar with has been moved. It's kind of like I'm learning the program all over again. For example, I can't find the remove audio track function. It's something I do a lot, and now I'm stuck. Is there an updated user guide/manual somewhere to help me learn the new interface? I have found a lot of tutorials, but nothing yet on the latest Kdenlive. |

What do you mean exactly by that? Do you want to remove entirely the track? |

I have a camera that has a microphone. When I take videos with it, the audio is included with the video clip. I can't disable it. Sometimes, I want to include music or something else in the background. I don't want the existing audio that's attached to the clip. I figured out how to do it in the new version of Kdenlive. - Right click on the video clip that has audio attached. - Choose "Ungroup" from the pop up menu that appears. (The video and audio tracks now become separate). - Then right click on the audio track and choose 'Remove'. (Then you're left with only the video component). |

The way you identified is working.
Here is a faster, cleaner way to do it: Suppose you want to insert the video only of a clip in the timeline.
