I just updated my Linux system. I'm now running Kdenlive Version 19.04.0. One of the things I noticed with this upgrade is when I now drop a video clip onto the timeline, the audio is automatically separated. How do I unite the two? I'd prefer to have audio and video combined on one timeline.

Hello,
This is the only available way from now on. You can show the video and audio tracks together as shown in the release notes : https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/04/kdenliv ... -released/ Happy editing. |

Thanks for the response. This is going to take some getting used to. I preferred seeing the audio track right on the video track, especially when I was editing out words, etc. I could really key in on the frame. Now, having them separated may make this a bit of a challenge. I won't know until I try. Is there way to place audio directly under a video track? Can it be laid out Video audio underneath for each clip? |
