lost proprtions

Sat May 11, 2019 6:29 pm
I created a project in Kdenlive 19.04.1 with HD 1080p profile.
I tried to render the project in mp4 format, without changing any presets:
f=mp4 movflags=+faststart vcodec=libx264 progressive=1 g=15 bf=2 crf=%quality acodec=aac ab=%audiobitrate+'k'

The video that I get doesn't respect proportions (16:9). All images are square and have lose all their proportions.
With mediainfo I get this:
Code: Select all
Video
ID                                       : 1
Format                                   : AVC
Format/Info                              : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile                           : High@L4
Format settings                          : CABAC / 4 Ref Frames
Format settings, CABAC                   : Yes
Format settings, ReFrames                : 4 frames
Codec ID                                 : avc1
Codec ID/Info                            : Advanced Video Coding
Duration                                 : 10 s 200 ms
Bit rate                                 : 2 760 kb/s
Width                                    : 1 920 pixels
Height                                   : 1 080 pixels
Display aspect ratio                     : 16:9
Frame rate mode                          : Constant
Frame rate                               : 30.000 FPS
Color space                              : YUV
Chroma subsampling                       : 4:2:0
Bit depth                                : 8 bits
Scan type                                : Progressive

In fact the video **is** 1920x1080 but inexplicably is visualized as a square surrounded by a black margin.
I'm working in xubuntu 18.04.

Thank in advance for all help.

EDIT
I've selected scanning = force progressive in the render options and everything is now ok.
I can't understand why.
