I can render an audio track to mp4 no problem and it is ok for my purposes to have the bogus black screen video, but would be nice if I can render audio tracks without video to mp3.
That currently fails.
Any idea what I do wrong ? as I cannot believe it cannot render to mp3

Here is a video clearly showing it.
I open a video containing sound
I delete video track leaving only Audio track.
I then attempt to render only the audio track ...kdenlive fails and crashes.

Peculiar that I render to MP3 (audio only) but kdenlive tells me that the video will be corrupt. Kdenlive is seemingly not aware that the audio track mp3 is not a video by definition.

Thank you for repotting. Confirmed on AppImage 19.04.2f. I opened issue: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/280. This doesn't happen on Windows.
