I'm using v19.07.70 for Windows.
I'm using the new track layout for the first time. I have some library clips. I used to expand them in the timeline using "Current clip -> Expand". Then I modify the clip components.
In the latest version, the expand doesn't work. I have added new AV tracks and tried it on AV1 to AV4, still not working.
What can I do?

Looks like it has just been fixed. Where can I get the nightly build? Is there a Windows portable version available?

Standalone: Take the file with the ending “64-gcc.7z“. You need 7zip for unpacking. To start Kdenlive double click Kdenlive.exe in the “bin” folder.

Thanks, I just tested. It works. But I guess I still have to wait. I found following issues:
1) If there are not enough tracks to expand it only says: Could not expand clip. If the library is not created by myself I have no chance to know the problem.
Proposal: Returns an error message with number of tracks required or add new tracks automatically.
2) After I manually adding new tracks, the library was expanded successfully. But I noticed, some 2s clips with 1s fading to back have become 2s fading to black. One transition was on the bottom of a video track instead of on top.
3) Proposal: When a mlt clip is selected in the project bin the property panel should show the A/V tracks required.

I also experienced a crash after few clicks. I guess I have to stick with my old workaround. Create new project in v18 and expand all libraries then open the project in v19 ;D
