Shortcut differences from 19.04.x to 19.08.x /my beloved 'V'

Hi,

I used to use Version 19.04.x which was coming with debian 10 (buster) out of the box.
When I select a clip sequence I could chose to simply press 'V' (or the middle button on my contour jog and shuttle device) ans the selected clip section was copied into my project.
With the 19.08 version, which is included on my other debian installation (which is a bullseye / debian testing) that does not work any more.
I can drag and drop by mouse the selected section, but simply pressing 'V' does not work any more - probably because many shortcuts have changed in the latest release.

Since I was not sure, I tested it with 19.04.02 again, made a new project, cut a sequence, press 'v' - et voila the sequence was copied in my project - my memory was right:-)

The funny thing is, in both kdenlive installations there is the same definition for "v" in the shortcut tab, but only the old release works....

Is there a way to make it work again? Or do I have to use my mouse more often now?

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,

Herbie

It's still working but in a different way. In 19.08 was the 3 point editing with keyboard shortcuts implemented. See here: https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/08/kdenliv ... -released/
