I suggest KDEnlive to be able to support number counters (from, to, smooth or linear).

It already has “Dynamic Text”, which has font and colour options, etc., but still limited possibilities (e.g. it can conut frames, but not manual numbers, as far as I know).

It should also be optional to use a dot or comma for grouping 3 digits.
