Hi,
I downloaded and used kdenlive-19.08.3b-x86_64.appimage and I missing my custom effects.
The folder "Benutzerdefiniert" or "Custom" is not shown.
When I search for one of my effects the folder and the effect is shown in the effects tab but not in normal case.

My effects are located in ~/.local/share/kdenlive/effects
When I store a effect in appimage it will be stored in the directory above but also not shown.

What's wrong?

Unfortunately custom group effects are not implemented so far. It's on the to do list: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/188

I do not understand.
Up to now this was implemented since a long time. I used version 18.12.3 before.

Since the refactoring version (https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/04/kdenliv ... -released/ ) of Kdenlive (version 19.04 onwards) custom group effects are not implemented. If you need custom group effects stay with 18.12 until custom group effects are implemented again.
