Hi, I am new to Kdenlive, just downloaded the version for windows 10. I have a logitech webcam, also my very new samsung cell phone is connected to the PC.
I read the manual but not able to understand with which tools or what materials are needed to start registering videos. I thought that we can use use any webcam connected to the PC, non? When I go to settings > capture > I see Screen grab & Blackmagic Tabs
Nothing in the Blackmagic tab devices
What is Blackmagic? and how can I start recording using my logitech or external detected device. Do I need specific materials?

screen grab .. it's grabbing screen of computer, no external devices.. this is used usually for Kdenlive tutorials... or maybe some other tutorial things...
if you have an external camera, better to record the video flux using default application.. and after that use kdenlive to make an editing.
