Hi all,

I'm running Kdenlive 19.12.0 on Ubuntu 19.04. I have a project with lots of HD clips (from 5 cameras) that stutters when playing back on the timeline. So I decided to enable proxy clips. However, when proxy clip creation finished, the clips from one camera appeared solid white, without visual content. When closing and reloading the file, Kdenlive threw an error: "Invalid clip producer56 on track playlist20 at 271." (I'm translating from German here, so it might be marginally different) and the clips weren't displayed in the timeline any more. The source file is a .MOV container, and, strangely, ffprobe delivers the following output:

Kdenlive can work with the file just fine if proxy clips are not enabled, but editing is a pain for all the stuttering. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.12.0a to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
