Hi,

I was recently working on a video project, it was saved to an external hard drive and now I'm trying to use that same project on another PC, in this case the second PC is a Windows PC, and it seems all the paths to the video files were hard coded for lack of a better word, so of course when I open the project it doesn't find anything.

Is it possible to configure a project to point to the files only with a certain folder level to avoid this issue in future?

thanks,
Bruce

Working with exchangable external drives is a bit of an issue because Kdenlive save the drive letter in the project file. If the drive letter changes Kdenlive should ask by opening a project where the clips are and you can point to the correct folder. Right click a clip and reload or locate the clip is another way.
