I'm using v19 for Windows.
In almost all my projects, there is only one single audio track. All other clips I use e.g. for PIP, I have to mute their audio by adding the mute effect. Also, the audio tracks take unnecessarily space. I can delete the audio track. But afterward I can't add any AV clip into that video only track.
Is there a way that I can add an AV clip into a video only track and the audio is mute automatically?

you can mute the entire track (A1) using the MUTE/UNMUTE button.

after just be sure to place on A1V1 all clips that needs to be muted.
