Hi!
I'm completely lost with the following situation. I've a basic kdenlive project which renders without problem in the appimage 19.12.1 (under linux) As I'm running from a terminal, I can see the message Started render process: "/tmp/.mount_kdenli1BSILB/usr/bin/melt" "-progress /home/david/Vídeos/kdenlive-renderqueue/cNuevo.mlt" If I run > /tmp/.mount_kdenli1BSILB/usr/bin/melt -version the output is melt 6.19.0 Copyright (C) 2002-2019 Meltytech, LLC <https://www.mltframework.org/> This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. But trying /tmp/.mount_kdenli1BSILB/usr/bin/melt -progress /home/david/Vídeos/kdenlive-renderqueue/cNuevo.mlt gave: Failed to load "/home/david/Vídeos/kdenlive-renderqueue/cNuevo.mlt" Failed to load "/home/david/Vídeos/kdenlive-renderqueue/cNuevo.mlt" Usage: melt [options] [producer [name=value]* ]+ ....... I've tested .- moving cNuevo.mlt to other folder, same result .- running my local install of melt 6.18, same result I'm having the same problem with other mlt files which I assummed to be due to a conflict of melt versions, but as I can run the one "packed" with kdenlive, I do not understand which is the problem. Any help is appreciated. Regards David |

Hello,
Strange... Have you checked the mlt file is not empty? Are the file authorizations OK for the user you use in terminal? |

Dear vpinon:
thanks for replying. Everything looks correct in the mtl file. In fact, if I run the script from kdenlive, it works. Regarding permissions, everything is in my home folder, so there should be no problem. I'll make a fresh install of linux in a virtual machine and test if the same behaviour arise. All the best David |
