Hi there.

I am new to Kdenlive.

I have a clip where I like to remove a few seconds.

That worked by using the scissors tool. Then I removed the space. Now I have 2 parts of a clip.

How can I join these 2 parts so that they will be 1 single clip again?

I like to use fade out but being limited to the 2nd part of the clip it's too short.

Thanks for help.

can't be rejoined .. and for what i know probably is not a standard feature of video editing softwares (i'm from corel/jasc video editors)

for these kind of fading effect on multiple clips, you have to use COMPOSITE AND TRANSFORM that is not an effect but a COMPOSITION, just create a keyframe at 4 seconds from clips ending and a keyframe on the extreme right.. and set OPACITY of the last keyframe to 0... this make the clips dissolve progressively on the last 4 seconds.
