Hi,

I have a main workstation, running ubuntu 18.04.4, running kdenlive 17.12.3, but some screens like the title clip come up only showing the borders of the window, nothing inside. So I installed on another pc, running ubuntu 19.04, which has a newer version of kdenlive, but some menu items are missing. So I also installed a snap version on my workstation, and it seems like the windows come up fine, but I can't save anything (probably a rights problem) I uninstalled the original version on my workstation so hopefully the snap version won't conflict with already installed version. I went home and installed on ubuntu 18.04, running 17.12.3 and got everything to work.

So my ? is, what do I need to do to get a version that works? (other than trying 5 different PCs til one works!, I also installed on my laptop with similar menu items missing...) I'd like to get it working on my workstation or snap version so I don't have to have my home PC at work.

Thanks!
Michael

HI!, just tried installing ubuntu 19.12 on my pc and using the latest appimage ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 4.appimage ) and seems ok.
1 month ago i used latest fedora and 19.08 release ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 4.appimage ) also without issues.

and for Windows users i suggest to use the 19.08 also ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 9.08.3.exe ) and set the decimal separator to POINT (for locales that uses comma)
