Hi, all

I've scoured the forums looking for this same problem, but couldn't find anyone having the exact same problem as me.

Basically, when I go to add a new clip either from the 'Project Bin' or from the 'Project' tab, the project goes into 'Not Responding.' If I leave it alone for several minutes, it will actually resume what it was doing and allow me to add clips. This is obviously just not the most efficient way to work.

This only began around two weeks ago. Until then, everything was working great! I'm on a PC, and I'm guessing an unsolicited Windows update had something to do with this.

Things, I've tried:

A clean install of Kdenlive to the most recent version.
Updating my graphics drivers.
Yes, restarting my computer multiple times.

Any other ideas would be super appreciated.

I did delete all Kdenlive folders when I did my clean install of Kdenlive. Still no luck.

are you using latest nightly or latest release? ( latest nightly: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kden ... 64-gcc.exe )

and also .. switch to openGL backend...

Hi,

Yes, I'm using the most recent release, 19.12.3

I've also got OpenGL Backend switched to OpenGLES

I recently discovered the exact same bug happens when I extract frames, if that's a clue.

I don't know. I'm at a loss.
