Hallo Community,

I Used kdenlive not for a while, but it was working... Now I get an error at start up in the terminal window:

Code: Select all
QStandardPaths: wrong ownership on runtime directory /run/user/1000, 1000 instead of 0

I did a fresh install of kdenlive (via zypper) but same problem, probably it is a dependency.

I believe it has something to do with QT, does anybody has an idea or suggenstion?

Thank you!

Yes this seems to be a QT issue. The best is to use the AppImage from the download page because the AppImage contains all deps needed and it's the most stable version.

Thank you for your suggestion, it works so far for me, however this is only a quick fix. I have to post it as a bug for the distribution I think.

Glad to hear it works. If the AppImage works then it's an upstream packing issue. Yes, this is a distributer bug.
