In v18 (Windows), I got used to press Del key to delete the right hand side clip after cut.
In v19, nothing is selected after cut. So I have to click on the right clip each time.
Is this a bug or feature?

i think is necessary to open an "issue" about that. but i have no idea on how to detect the correct clip to highlight after the deletion.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood. I mean the "cut" with the scissors tool by hitting the x key which is used to split a clip into two.

I wouldn't say necessary. It has been like this all the time and I find it very useful.
During my record process, I stop/cut the recording when I make a bad mistake. Then I restart the recording in a following clip.
So, in editing I have a bunch of short clips. When I see the bad mistake I cut it and hit delete (in v18) because the right clip is pre-selected.
In v19, I have to hit s to switch back to selection tool and select the rest clip and then hit delete.
