Hi, I added a new audiotrack and it's red shaded. Also a red stripe is shown in the toolbar. What does that mean?

you have 2 (two) A1 tracks...
this is a know bug of older versions... please update kdenlive to 20.04 release ( https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ... 4.appimage )
after that create a new audio track (A5?) and copy all the content of the red track on A5.
