Can't find the Effects Properties

Wed May 06, 2020 10:17 am
Being new to Kdenlive I am struggling with trying to follow the Quick Start.
following the quick start guide section by adding the "RGB adjustment" to the "piano" clip, I can't find the "Effects Properties" in Kdenlive version 20.04.0?

to display the seetings of effects (that is enabled by default... and i think you have to delete kdenliverc file)
you have to select MENU --> VIEW --> EFFECT/COMPOSITION STACK

(if ypou have the clip-properties displayed ... you can disable it on the same way)

So the "Effects Properties" in the Quick Start Tutorial are called "Effect/Composition Stack in Kdenlive 20.04.0 >:(

I got to say trying to work through the quick start in the Handbook which does not match the Version 20.04.0 is more than frustrating...

Hi Drelph! You have to open the "effects stack/compositions" tab.

I now have the "Effect/Composition Stack" window showing, but when I click on an Effect (in this case, "Position and Zoom"), nothing shows in the Effects/Composition window. I should have something that allows me to set properties for the Zoom.
It looks like a nice program, but there still may be too many problems, thus making it unusable.

I had to enable "Properties" in the "View" Menu.
