Hello all!
Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I couldn't find any similar post or solution. I recently (eventually) moved from Ubuntu 16.04 to 20.04 and am now using Kdenlive 20.04.0. It's awfully slow now, and I'm not sure why. For testing, I am not even using videos, but audio files only. Everything seems to be fine at first, but soon after starting to edit tracks, even scrolling the timeline takes ages. The situation improves if I deactivate the audio thumbnails though. The computer is fast enough, has plenty of RAM, and I have never experienced this behavior before. Is there any (new) setting that I may be missing? Best, Oliver |
