KdenLive wiped files?

Thu May 28, 2020 8:27 pm
So, I was working on editing an animation project, and when I opened KdenLive the next day (after saving it the previous day), the program said the file was missing. I did all the available ways to try and find it, the entire folder as well, and it was completely gone. I can't find it anywhere. I rebooted and then tried to get into KDenlive and open a 'recent project' and find it, but since the files were somehow wiped off my computer, it didn't work. Is there any way to find it again, and if not, what happened to it?

Sounds like your hard drive may be failing. How old is the drive you saved to and your system?

This is a brand-new computer, bought 2019. The hard drive should be around the same age.
