I wonder what this 'activate/inactivate track' feature is for. (I attach a link for a better communication, in the end)

I tried everything on my end to figure it out, but no luck. No detailed docs on the google, nor any explanation on the Kdenlive official documents.

Clicking the V1 button toggles the green light on and off and when it's hovered it reads

Active tracks will react to editing operations

What is 'editing operation'? I did some experiment on my own and it was easy to figure out that inactivating a track wasn't the same as locking the track.

if using razor tool isn't one of this 'editing operations' as in tooltip, what is? I have no clue on this feature.

This is used if you editing only with the keyboard and shortcuts. If you do that you are much faster than with the mouse and you can do things that are not possible with the mouse. Details see here "3 point editing with keyboard shortcuts": https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/08/kdenliv ... -released/
