Good morning all,

I'm new to Kdenlive (about 2 months with it) and am loving it - amazing product!

I am using version 20.04.1 on Windows 10 and work mostly with 1080P video files, as such, I need to work with proxy clips to get efficient work flow.

I use the Extract Frame feature but have learned that it captures the Proxy frame and not the high-resolution frame. Is there a work around for this?

If not, can someone recommend a computer hardware configuration that would allow me to edit 1080P (and hopefully 4k) video with good performance?
