Sorry for this basic question but I have not been able to solve this issue myself or find the answer for it online.

After opening kdenlive version 20.04.1 and starting a new project I click on 'Project' and then 'Add Clip or Folder' but the uploaded clip no longer appears on the left-side column as it used to be.

I have been playing with kdenlive for a few months now and have never had any issue uploading or visualizing uploaded clips.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just found the answer. Posting here the simple answer in case someone runs into the same issue.

Click on 'View' and then 'Project Bin'.

Everything should be back to normal now!

yep.. and this probably can become an issue with new release (whre layouts will be introduced) .. the project bin need to be displayed/focuses when a clip is added.
