I'm trying to use the transform effect in kdenlive with little success. The
online tutorials that I've seen show that when a transform is applied to an image, the image gets graphical handles that allow it to be resized and moved. When I apply a transform to an image, I don't get these graphical controls. I can manipulate the image by manually editing the numeric values in the transform properties box or incrementally changing them with the mouse scroll wheel, but this approach is far to tedious for me to use to get the results that I desire. I can't find any mention of this problem online. Can someone please help me to resolve this issue? I'm using kdenlive version 20.04.3. I am running Fedora 31 with kernel 5.7.15-100.fc31.x86_64 on an HP Pavilion a6209n with an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ CPU. Video card is VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV710 [Radeon HD 4350/4550] The software on my system is current, I just updated everything. |

Thank you for the helpful reference; I'll keep these suggestions in mind if I
ever run into this situation again. For now, I'm marking this post as solved, since the problem seems to be an installation issue,, possibly a missing library. The appImage does not have this problem. |
