Is there any way to make the scroll bar at the bottom more visible instead of black ?

I missed it for months did not think there was one till I found it recently just slightly different black colour I would like to make a colour so I can pick quickly?

Scroll bar at the bottom of what? Please be a tad more detailed what you are talking about, ad provide some information about your distribution and Plasma version when asking a question in this forum.

The scroll bar at the very bottom of the time lines so you can scroll the timeline back and forward, currently very hard to see as black on black.

I dont have a plasma version Kdenlive is installed on a Windows 10 computer version 20.04.1

Right, you are in the general KDE forum here, of which Kdenlive is a project, but not the whole forum is dedicated to Kdenlive. Since I don't use this software very often it is rather hard to know what you were referring to.

This is really annoying, especially because this is a known issue for 8 months now (see link).

Does anybody know if there's a way to fix this by editing a theme file somewhere...?

waiting for this quite a long time - if the problem is to change the color of the slider, maybe a solution would be to make it light blue and it is visible across all themes, no need to change for each theme and it will be visible also in dark themes
